 Omicron Xi Omega was awarded the following recognition by the North Atlantic Regional Conference:
 

  • 2017 - Certificate of Participation “in recognition of notable Online Program Reporting”

  Recent Community Service Awards

  • 2018 - The Montclair Branch of the NAACP presented awards to Mary Bentley-LaMar who also received the Julian Bond Community Service Award 


  • Lynne Williams received the Tuskegee Armed Services Award · 


  • 2018 - Dr. KorDai DeCoteau received the MLK Living the Dream Award presented by the Harlem Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha  


  • 2018 - Keshia Trotman led Omicron Xi Omega Chapter to win 2nd Place Overall Female In UNCF-New Jersey’s Walk for Education


  • 2018 - St. Mark’s United Methodist Church of Montclair presented the Omicron Xi Omega Chapter an award “in recognition of its outstanding work and commitment to Girls’ and Women’s Empowerment”  


  • 2018 – St. Mark’s United Methodist Church Archives Project recognized then Omicron Xi Omega Chapter President Althia Tweiten for her generous support of the effort to place a headstone at the grave site of Alice Hooe Foster, Founder of the Montclair YWCA for Colored Women.
